Lonnie and I are sending well wishes to our family and friends back home as Irene approaches! It's always great to live on the coast until hurricane season comes!! Please say a little prayer for everyone who may be impacted by this storm!!

Hello from Detroit!

We are in our second city of the family road trip and it has been a blast! Our first stop was Chicago and I can honestly say I love that city!! I'm updating from my
Phone so as soon as I get back i will upload some pictures I took. We are now in Detroit but are staying 30 min away in this really cute area with the most comfortable beds I have ever laid my body on!! I may not want to leave haha. As for baby boy he is kicking up a storm as I type. I think Lon and I have come to an agreement on a name finally, Cutter David. It's unique and sounds great with Chisenhall:) but who knows we could change our
Minds again!! We get back to Cleveland Sunday night and get to be home
For a while before I make my way to NC for 10 days, yay!! Goodnight for now!!

Surprise Baby Shower

So yesterday I made my way to Columbus from Cleveland for a, what I thought was a wedding shower, for Casey. Turns out it was a baby shower for me too! Those girls are so sweet and thoughtful and really made me miss them even more. I got some really cute outfits for baby biglon and a gift card to babies r us, let the shopping begin :) I also got to see Alicia and baby Kens for the first time since spring training which was amazing! Once I have the pics from Casey sent over to me I will post them for everyone to see. It was such a great time and so good seeing everybody. I have an appointment for baby boy tomorrow morning here in Columbus then I'm heading back to Cleveland.

Cravings, Kicks and Flips and Baby Names

This was at 15 weeks I do believe

How cute is that hate!!
This is one of my favorites, RAWR!

Waiting for his daddy to get home from the hospital, he was so excited :)

Britt is engaged!!!!!! Her ring is beautiful (made by the same jeweler that made mine) and I couldn't be happier for her and Grant!

They now sell "Chisenhall" shirts in the team store. So exciting and oh so proud!

My stomach is starting to shift up, 18 weeks

Mmmmm, my newest craving. I cut up a huge thing of strawberries and finished them off in 2 days!

Fenway Park, such a great experience

The other night at the game all I wanted was something sour. So after the game instead of taking a cab Lonnie and I walked back to the hotel and stopped at a gas station to get me some sour patch kids, they did just the trick :)
Time is flying by here in Cleveland and I can't believe that it is already August! School will be starting back home soon and I have to admit I am kinda sad I won't be setting up a classroom. I know my mom is feeling the same way after going at it for 30 years! Baby Chis has been doing lots of moves in mommy's belly and it is so amazing to feel! I will lay on the bed or sit on the couch for an hour or so trying to feel every single movement. He loves strawberries :) We have been thinking about some names and while we can't really agree at this point in time I think it is going to come down between Tucker Maddox (Tuck) or Hudson Maddox. Lonnie picked the middle name Maddox and loves it. We are going to have a lot of company this upcoming week and I'm very excited! Monday, 3 of our friends from high school are coming up and leaving on Friday just in time for my mom and family to get here for the weekend! I made a trip to Boston the past few days and what an experience it was. Red Sox fans are brutal and very dedicated! This weekend I will be driving down to Columbus to see my girls for a baby and wedding shower and then Monday I have a doctors appointment!

Difficulties

I know I am horrible about updating this blog and the one night I sit down to upload pictures I have technical difficulties! My pictures won't upload after several attempts, so I will try again tomorrow! I have pictures of my latest cravings and a few from my trip to Boston. I am going on 18 weeks and I am feeling great. I still get a bad headache from time to time and have my days where I am exhausted, but I feel better than ever overall. Goodnight from Cleveland, I will attempt this again in the morning! :)

Finally a new post!

This picture is way late, but here is one of us girls in New Orleans. We did a tour, the history of New Orleans is so interesting!

My Columbus girls, I miss them so much!!

This was at like 12 weeks so I need a new one. I will post a 16 week next week :)

When the family came to see Lonnie's home debut we made a trip to the Cleveland Zoo. Jaxon is looking at the map for Sharks and Frogs!

The only animal from the whole zoo that he remembers is the frogs,  he told Lonnie they were "blue and they had poison"

4th of July fireworks from the dugout. It was a great game because we beat the Yankees!

This pic is a little blurry but I still think it is so cute. Jax loves Lonnie oh so much!

We got to see Baby Chis and he is a.......BOY! We had an ultrasound done and sure enough the beenie had a weenie!! He looks so relaxed in this picture, I just love it.

Snuggle Bear outfit, I couldn't resist while browsing around in target.
Baby Armour. I bought this before we even knew the sex of the baby because it was only 3 bucks and  I thought it was so cute. I'm really excited to know that he will actually get to wear it now!

Fathers day and my last night home

Biscuit taking a snooze

Having fun on the blow up water slide! I wanted to get on oh so bad

Spending the day at the beach for Father's Day

The Lawrence children, never a dull moment!

Happy Father's Day Dalby!! Love you

Letting Jax drive my car in the driveway haha, he said
"Meme this is so fun, lets drive again!"
Well my stay at home has come to an end but I'm so glad that I was able to stay this long! It's always great to come home and smell the salt air and feel the salt water on your skin. Tomorrow morning, bright and early, my mom, niece, sister in law and I are heading to New Orleans to visit my sister Amanda for the week. It is going to be so hot there!! I'll be getting back to Ohio Saturday morning and cannot wait to see Lonnie, he is going to be surprised about how much my belly has popped in 2 weeks. We have another appointment next Monday to hear the heartbeat and I really look forward to it!

Home Sweet Home

Nothing better than a home cooked meal!!

I sure have missed going out in the boat

Where Lonnie and I got married

He refused to smile because he was too sleepy

Carteret County sunset

10 weeks and after a great day of eating. I refer to this as my "food baby"

A perfect day at the beach- I'm so spoiled!

College buds

Bon Bon and my niece Mya swinging in the backyard

Mya- She found out today that she will be having a baby sister come November! Can't wait to find out what I am having :)
Being home is the greatest thing ever! I spent Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday at the beach with Karen who came to visit trying to get some color from where I have been stuck in the nasty Ohio weather! I still have 4 more days at home before heading to New Orleans for a few. Tomorrow it is supposed to rain so I look forward to having a relaxing day inside and MAYBE cleaning up my awful bedroom. I have been feeling better and only been getting a little sick in the mornings when I first wake up. I can't believe my first trimester is almost over! I so look forward to the second and feeling awesome :) The bump is visible to family members and is REALLY visible after I eat a nice dinner!

Banana Pudding and a 'W'

Aint yo mama's banana pudding, so delicious!

I get lots of practice with this little guy, he is the BEST baby ever!

We split the doubleheader and won the second game last night
Yesterday the Clippers had a doubleheader and we were finally able to beat them in the second game! I made a banana pudding for the boys as requested and hope that it met their needs. I have made probably 4 or 5 for them and have yet to get any because Lonnie is taking it out of the door to the field before I can get any! He says that it lasts all of 30 seconds once it gets there. I have felt pretty good the past 2 days but am just really tired today, I am so thankful not to be sick though! Only 3 more days until I get to head down south, yay :)

Louisville Slugger and Teeny Tiny Baby Bump

I wanted to feel like Cinderella and ride in this but Lonnie wasn't too fond of the idea haha

The Lousiville Bats don't do the normal hotdog race, they do a taco bell hot sauce race!

A little over 8 weeks, my pooch that already existed is now getting a little larger!  It's getting harder to
suck in!
On Thursday evening one of the other wives and myself decided to make the 3 hour drive to Louisville, KY to meet the boys for a 2 game series. The boys had already been gone for 8 days so it was nice to see them before heading back to Columbus late last night. I felt great while we were in KY but sure enough this morning I woke up and felt sick, I'm beginning to think its because of what Lonnie makes for breakfast every morning. Only 5 more days until I head home to see everybody and I think I'm so excited I may go ahead and start packing!!

A Great Day

Today was a great day here in Ohio. I once again woke up feeling great. I ate breakfast and watched a few episodes of the Jersey Shore, my favorite haha. A few girls got together and we went to a beautiful park to take the kids to play. I was getting some good practice :) Then we went back to one of their houses and made spaghetti and meatballs, yum. It was great to get out of the house and enjoy the sunshine but it just wasn't the same as being home and enjoying the salt air. 11 Days until I head home for 10 days then spend 4 days in New Orleans with my sisters and mama, but whos counting?!

Nugget Update!

Baby Chisenhall looking oh so tiny!

Yesterday was the big day for us, the day we got to see our little nugget for the first time!! It was unbelievable and we saw the tiny heartbeat. It is so crazy to think that something so small can already melt your heart. They said the baby was measuring a little small so they moved the due date back 5 days to 1/13/12, but we will see how baby is progressing at the next appointment! We both really like our doctor and are lucky to have found such a great one not knowing anybody up here. Lonnie had the whole day off yesterday so we spent it watching 'Lost' on Netflix and venturing out to find a Mellow Mushroom, my favorite pizza place. The pizza was a little disappointing so we have decided that Myrtle Beach has the best one by far. Lonnie left this morning at 4:30 for a 10 day roadtrip so its just me and the nugget here for a week and a half. I'm going to be doing lots of cleaning and pack up my winter clothes since it is finally getting warm here. I can't wait to come home in 2 weeks for 10 whole days, it is going to be great! We miss y'all.

A not so good day..

Well today has not been such a good day in pregnant land. I haven't been able to find anything that helps with the nausea today. The weather is beautiful here again and I am so sad that I haven't been able to go out and enjoy it. It is supposed to rain here for the next week or so but when we go to the doctor on Wednesday I know that it will bring some sunshine into our lives. I got a call from mom yesterday and she was eating El's so I have wanted nothing but that ever since then! Lonnie has an early game tomorrow and an off day on Wednesday before leaving for a 10 day road trip. I always love day games so that we can have the whole night to hang out.

Warmth and Sunshine

Beautiful area near our apartment
Today was one of the first warm and sunny days we have had here in Ohio and I took full advantage! I started the day by sitting by the pool with one of the other wives for a few hours then we headed out to go on a long walk around downtown and the river. There was a very cute little wedding going on and we enjoyed being noisy and checking everything out! Today was also one of the first days that I didn't feel terrible so it was nice to be able to get off the couch and enjoy the day!

'Purdy' is Preggo!

It was positive before I could even finish my business!!
I decided to start a blog so that family can keep up with us during the pregnancy and after since we won't be living at home during this very special time. I got the idea from my awesome baseball friend Alicia and my 'ma' Cat :)  On Cinco De Mayo Lonnie and I found out that we will be welcoming a baby into the world! Our first appointment is next wednesday and we couldn't be more excited to see a picture of the little cookie in my belly that is making mommy oh so sick! Right now I am about 7 weeks and  I will be sure to post a picture of our first sonogram.
